“Operation Show Your Scorecard!” – Ex-Senate President Hits Back at Former Leaders
He challenges past officeholders to account for their time in power, accusing them of failing the people and warning that they won’t return to power.
“I’ve said it before—everyone should present their scorecard. When I was Senate President, I can show mine. How did I help the people of Benue State? How did I help the people of Otukpo? We’ve only been here for 16 days, and we’re already showing our own scorecard.
This is ‘Operation Show Your Scorecard.’ God gave you the opportunity to be in office and bring joy to Nigerians. But according to you, you refused to do so.
Now that you’re out of office, you’re angry. You say Nigerians are angry. No—it’s you who’s angry because you’re no longer in power.
You want to return? You won’t. You will not return to power.”
