Wike defends President Tinubu performance
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has consistently defended President Bola Tinubu’s performance since taking office, asserting that Tinubu has delivered tangible results, particularly in infrastructure and governance.
In May 2024, after inspecting the Abuja Light Rail and Southern Parkway projects, Wike stated that Tinubu has performed well, emphasizing that the president is committed to delivering the dividends of democracy and has renewed the hope of Nigerians.
Wike also highlighted that Tinubu’s achievements are verifiable and not mere propaganda, citing the ongoing transformation of area councils and multiple infrastructure projects in the FCT.
In January 2025, Wike reiterated that Tinubu is committed to making Nigeria a better place through good and inclusive governance, urging Nigerians to be patient as the administration works to overcome the nation’s challenges.
Furthermore, Wike has expressed unwavering support for Tinubu, stating in December 2024 that he has no regrets or apologies for supporting Tinubu’s presidency and would do so again if given the opportunity.
Overall, Wike’s consistent endorsements underscore his belief in Tinubu’s leadership and the progress made under his administration.
