The President of Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has declared that Nigerians will no longer face the torment of fuel queues, which have plagued the country for over 50 years.

Speaking on Monday, Dangote noted that his refineryโ€™s 650,000 barrels-per-day capacity has, after one year of operations, successfully stabilized petrol supply across the nation.

He stressed that the refineryโ€™s local production has eliminated dependency on imports, cut down smuggling, and brought long-awaited relief to motorists and businesses.

Dangote described the milestone as a โ€œnew dawnโ€ for Nigeriaโ€™s energy sector, assuring citizens that with continued efficiency, the dark days of scarcity are finally over.
