Friday Night Accident Claims Lives in Ogun State
At least 10 people have been confirmed dead and three others injured in a ghastly motor accident that occurred Friday night along the Ijebu-Ode–Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.
According to eyewitnesses, the tragic incident happened late at night and involved multiple vehicles. The exact cause of the accident remains unclear, but speed and poor visibility are suspected factors.
Emergency responders and officials from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) quickly arrived at the scene to evacuate the victims and provide medical attention to the survivors, who sustained various degrees of injuries.
Authorities have since called on road users to exercise caution, especially during night travels.
