The Lagos State Commissioner has responded to Peter Obiโs recent claims about the demolition of a property allegedly owned by his brotherโs company. Obi had criticized the act, saying the building stood for over 15 years and was demolished based on a vague court judgment that neither mentioned the property, his brother, nor gave any clear demolition order.
In reaction, the Lagos State government insisted that due process was followed. According to the Commissioner:
