Furious Trump Accuses Israel and Iran of Ceasefire Breaches in Swearing Rant

In a fiery and unscripted outburst Tuesday morning, former President Donald Trump accused both Israel and Iran of violating a recently brokered ceasefire, using expletives during a live interview that has since gone viral across social media.

Appearing on the conservative network NewsNation, Trump was asked about the escalating tensions in the Middle East following last week’s fragile ceasefire agreement. The former president, who is again the presumptive Republican nominee for the 2024 election, veered off-script and launched into a tirade.

“Both sides — Israel and Iran — they blew the damn thing up before it even started,” Trump said. “They don’t give a sht about peace. We spent weeks working on this, and it’s gone in one f**ing day. It’s disgraceful.”

The remarks came just hours after reports surfaced of renewed missile strikes near the Israel-Lebanon border and alleged Iranian proxy activity in Syria. Neither government has officially acknowledged any breach of the agreement, though the United Nations expressed “serious concern” and called for restraint.

Trump, who often prides himself on his diplomatic efforts during his term, claimed the situation would have been “totally under control” had he been in office.

“I would’ve never let this crap happen. Biden is asleep at the wheel. And now we’ve got rockets flying again because no one’s scared of us anymore,” Trump added.

The comments drew immediate backlash from both sides of the political aisle. A spokesperson for the Israeli government called Trump’s remarks “deeply inappropriate and factually inaccurate,” while Iranian state media described them as “evidence of American chaos and decline.”

White House Press Secretary Marisol Vega responded in a press briefing, saying, “The ceasefire agreement was supported by a broad international coalition. We continue to monitor the situation closely and urge all parties to de-escalate.”

This is not the first time Trump has courted controversy with profane language during media appearances. But analysts say today’s remarks could have greater diplomatic implications.

“Trump’s choice of words — especially directed at Israel, historically one of his closest allies — is stunning,” said Dr. Lena Atassi, a Middle East policy expert at the Council on Foreign Relations. “This could have ripple effects in both regional politics and U.S. election dynamics.”

Trump’s campaign has not issued a clarification or apology, though a senior aide said off the record that “the President speaks bluntly because the world is in chaos and needs truth, not polish.”

The ceasefire remains tenuous, with international observers calling for an emergency U.N. Security Council meeting later this week.
