UK-based lawyer calls for the intervention of Nigerian leaders after the experience his acquaintance had at the American embassy
A UK-based Nigerian lawyer is calling on the Nigerian government to step in after a disturbing experience reportedly faced by someone close to him at the American embassy in Nigeria. The lawyer, whose identity remains undisclosed at press time, described the incident as “unjust” and “humiliating,” adding that no Nigerian should be subjected to such treatment on home soil.
He urged Nigerian leaders to demand respect for citizens and push for better diplomatic conduct from foreign missions operating in the country.
