
Liverpool Crash: Police Reveal Victim Ages
Merseyside Police have confirmed that the youngest and oldest victims of the tragic crash during Liverpool FC’s Premier League victory parade on May 26, 2025, were aged 9 and 78, respectively. The incident occurred on Water Street in Liverpool city center, injuring 79 individuals, including four children. As of May 29, seven victims remain hospitalized, with two in serious condition.
The 53-year-old driver, Paul Doyle, has been charged with multiple offenses, including dangerous driving and causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He is scheduled to appear at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on May 30, 2025.
