Shank wins Mr Beast’s $10,000 dollar prize
On May 22, 2025, Nigerian content creator Shank Comics won a surprise $10,000 cash prize during the inaugural session of Kai Cenat’s Streamer University. The prize was sponsored by MrBeast, who provided the funds for a unique giveaway. The winner was determined by a random selection method: a sticky note placed under one of the attendees’ chairs. Shank Comics discovered the note under his seat, securing the prize on his first day at the event.
Streamer University is a content creation bootcamp launched by Twitch star Kai Cenat. The program aims to bring together aspiring and established creators for a weekend of collaboration and learning. The first session was held at the University of Akron campus, with 120 selected participants.
Shank Comics’ win has been widely shared across social media platforms, including TikTok and YouTube. Videos capturing the moment he found the sticky note and his reaction have garnered significant attention.
