UNILAG Student Bags Yoruba Tennis Club Logo Award

A 400-level Creative Arts student from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Miss Oma Whitney Nwankwo, has won the Yoruba Tennis Club Centenary Logo Design Competition. Her design was selected from a pool of 15 submissions by UNILAG students, following a thorough review process. The Yoruba Tennis Club, Nigeria’s oldest indigenous social club founded in 1926, officially unveiled her winning logo as part of its centenary celebrations .

The club’s chairman, Bro. Chief Olakunle Agbebi SAN, praised Nwankwo’s work, highlighting its creativity and cultural resonance. The logo is now featured prominently in the club’s centenary branding and commemorative materials .

This achievement underscores the talent nurtured at UNILAG and showcases the significant contributions of young Nigerian creatives to national heritage.
